Rare Photos Of Warhol Cosplaying As Batman That Will Make You Smile

Did you know that Andy Warhol was a Batman fan?

Just scroll throw some of these adorable Batman and Robin shots for proof. It's super cute to see Warhol and Nico cosplaying as their favorite superheroes, don't you think?

More importantly, did you know he was the first person to invent a campy Batman character? That's right. Produced in 1964, Warhol's cheesy, low-budget "homage" to Batman came out a full two years before Joel Shumacher's Batman & Robin set the standard for campy Batman movies.

The working title of this piece is Batman Dracula. And true to form, Warhol did not receive permission from DC comics to use the character. This is %100 bootleg material.

Batman Dracula was lost to the world for about 40 years until it resurfaced recently. Enjoy the bizarre treasure below!
